1Who can join

Any Scriptory account holder. Your referral link is created the first time you open the affiliate page — there is nothing to apply for.

2What your referral gets

Someone who subscribes to annual Pro through your link pays ₹350 less than list price and gets 30 days free before their first charge — a full year of Pro on top of the free month. Their subscription then renews at the normal list price unless they cancel.

3What you earn

₹150 per referral, once. It is earned on the referral's first successful payment — not when they sign up, and not again when they renew. The offer and the commission apply to the annual Pro plan only; monthly plans, Studio, and the Student and Founding-member prices are not part of the programme and do not earn.

4How a referral is attributed

Your link sets a cookie that lasts 30 days. If someone arrives through more than one affiliate link before subscribing, the most recent one is credited. A referral is counted per subscription, so the same person subscribing again later is a new referral — but a single subscription only ever earns once.

5Self-referral

You cannot earn on your own account. Referrals where the buyer and the affiliate are the same account are refused outright and no commission is recorded.

6Refunds and chargebacks

If a referred subscription is refunded or charged back, the commission is reversed. If it had already been paid out to you, the amount is recovered against your next settlement.

7Getting paid

Settlements run at the end of each month for balances of at least ₹500. Anything below that rolls over to the next month. Payments are made by UPI or bank transfer to the details on your affiliate page; keep them current, because we cannot pay what we cannot reach. Each payment shows up in your payout history with its reference.

8Tax

Commission is paid gross. You are responsible for declaring it and for any tax due on it, and we may be required to deduct tax at source and to collect your PAN before paying. Nothing here is tax advice — if you are unsure how this income should be treated, speak to an accountant.

9Conduct

Don't bid on our brand names in paid search, don't present yourself as Scriptory or imply you speak for us, don't spam, and don't promise anything the product does not do. Accounts that do can be suspended, and unpaid balances on a suspended account may be withheld.

10Changes

We may change the commission, the discount or these terms. Changes apply to referrals made after they are published; anything already earned is unaffected. We can close the programme, in which case balances already earned are still settled.
